Refund policy

At Vela Car Mats, our goal is to provide high-quality, durable seat covers and car mats that meet or exceed customer expectations. Because our products are made on demand, returns and refunds are only available under specific conditions outlined below.


Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

We accept returns or refunds only when the issue is caused by us, including:

  • The product arrives damaged or defective.

  • The product is proven incompatible with your vehicle (see compatibility requirements below).

To be eligible, you must:

  • Contact us within 30 days of delivery at info@velacarmats.com.

  • Provide your order number.

  • Send clear photos and/or videos showing the issue. These are mandatory in order for our team to evaluate your case.

⚠️ Important: Refunds or returns cannot be processed based on change of mind, dislike of the product, or misunderstanding of product style. Our products are produced on demand and not eligible for returns for personal preference reasons.


Compatibility Requirements

Our seat covers are universal fit, but there are important exclusions. They are not compatible with:

  • Seats that have integrated headrests (sports bucket seats).

  • Seats with integrated armrests.

  • Seats with seat belts built into the seat itself.

Before purchasing, please review:

  • Installation video provided on our website.

  • Product photos and customer reviews available on each product page.

These resources are meant to ensure you know exactly what you are buying before placing your order.


Warranty – 6 Months

We provide a 6-month quality warranty on all seat covers. If your product shows defects related to stitching, material, or overall construction within this period, please email us with photos/videos and your order number so we can arrange a replacement.


Return Process

  1. Email info@velacarmats.com with your order number, photos/videos, and a description of the issue.

  2. If approved, we will provide you with return instructions and, in qualifying cases, a prepaid return label.

    • If the issue is not our responsibility (e.g., incorrect order by customer, incompatible due to excluded seat types), the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

  3. Once the product is received and inspected, you will be notified of approval or denial.


Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 3–10 business days.

  • Banks and credit card companies may require additional time to post the refund.

  • If more than 15 business days have passed after approval, please contact us.
